Mineral filter

Mineral sunscreens create a physical barrier between your skin and harmful UV rays, swatting them away from your precious skin. This "blocking" technique is why they're commonly known as physical sunscreens. MEGASHADE is formulated with Zinc Oxide (3%), a non-irritating filter that marries with our chemical filters to sink in and spread easily.

Chemical filters

Chemical filters absorb UV rays and convert them into heat, neutralizing harmful free radicals. They're also what lends our formula its weightless quality—free from any chalky white-cast—that blends sheer-to-clear. We formulate with Homosalate (7.5%), Octisalate (5%) and Octinoxate (7.5%).

Kakadu plum (Vitamin C)

Containing the highest Vitamin C content from any food source in the world, this powerful antioxidant from Australia helps to brighten the appearance of existing dark spots and block further UV-induced ones from forming. Vitamin C also plays a role in collagen synthesis, while helping to neutralise free radicals, making it the ultimate sunscreen-meets-skincare ingredient.

Niacinamide

Otherwise known as B3, Niacinamide is a water-soluble vitamin that turns down the appearance of redness and and irritation. Niacinamide also helps to revive and revitalize your moisture barrier following damage or dehydration, helping skin improve its natural production of hydrating ceramides. Your skin's calm, logical, level-headed friend.

Ferulic Acid

A do-gooder antioxidant that protects against free radicals, Ferulic acid fights skin degradation (referred to as aging by most, which is a beautiful part of life btw!), reducing the appearance of fine lines while firming skin. Buddying up with Vitamin C, another antioxidant, the duo is able to strengthen their blockade against harmful free radicals for ultimate protection.

Tea Tree

A potent agent from our home shores, Australia, that purifies pores and boots trouble-causing debris from the party that is your face. We've formulated MEGASHADE with 0.02% tea tree, an amount that's enough to repel trouble but not so much that it irritates skin.

Colloidal Oatmeal

The breakfast of dewy champions! But no, really, this antioxidant is an emollient, meaning that it softens and bear-hugs needy skin. Colloidal oatmeal is also water-binding, meaning it locks in moisture. That's absolutely not the whole scoop on this legendary active, though—it also soothes the appearance of redness and texture.

Ceramide NG

Replete with healthy fatty acids, this angelic ceramide helps retain moisture and boost skin's elasticity, keeping it firm, plump and supple. Ceramides can also help to revive dehydrated skin—for example, if you've used too many aggressive chemical exfoliants and your skin is parched beyond desert levels, ceramides can help rebuild your moisture barrier.

Hyaluronic Acid

One of the most adored skincare ingredients, Hyaluronic Acid is molecule that naturally occurs in your skin. HA works (in collaboration with Ceramide NG) as your hydration station; a moisture magnet that retains water stores in your skin to give you a luminous, dewy glow.
